Kynar® Polyvinylidene FlorideKynar® PVDF / Polyvinylidene Floride.PVDF stock shapes, sheet and film have excellent corrosion and chemical resistance at ambient and elevated temperatures. They are ideal for use in the chemical processing industry where corrosion causes components to break down or wear prematurely, resulting in downtime, loss of production and excessive maintenance costs. In addition to their superior corrosion resistance, PVDF stock shapes, sheet and film are mechanically tough and abrasion resistant. They can withstand both high pressures and vacuums, and are flame retardant. PVDF products maintain their mechanical properties and depending on the resin type are highly flexible and stress crack resistant over a wide range of temperatures.
