Noryl® Polyphenylene Oxide

Modified PPO shapes, sheet and film maintain their key properties over a wide temperature range (-40°F to 275°F), depending on the resin grade. Made from NORYL® resin, they remain stable resisting creep and deformation under load.
In addition to their thermal stability, they have high impact strength and are mechanically tough, providing dependable,long-term performance. Modified PPO products have an extremely low water absorption. This low water absorption capability means long-term dimensional stability in a variety of heat and moisture environments.
These products also exhibit excellent electrical properties. Changes in relative humidity, high temperatures, and a wide range of frequencies have virtually no effect on these properties.
NORYL® resin is UL94 rated V-1 at .058" thick.
